Carl Jansma
For over 35 years, Carl Jansma has led procurement, contracts management, and supply chain strategy across the MENA and ASEAN regions, holding C-suite roles at multinational firms in shipping port operations and ship charter management. His regional work spans international maritime port infrastructure, shipping operations, asset management, utilities, health services, and government ICT — encompassing strategic, high-risk operational, capital works, and construction projects. He specializes in building global and domestic strategic alliances, procurement category plans, and collaborative supply partnerships, and in delivering whole-of-business procurement transformations that produce measurable, value-for-money outcomes. More recently, as Principal of Supply Alliance Services — his own bespoke procurement consulting and contract management training firm in Australia — he has focused on strategic procurement and contract management for large-scale construction projects ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), Jansma is a graded Arbitrator and Mediator with the Professional Resolution Institute (Australia) since 2000 and a certified Strategic Alliance Manager with the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP). He has lectured on construction-related procurement at the Queensland University of Technology and as a guest lecturer at IVE University in Hong Kong.
